Who Else Wants to Build Creative Apps?

This is the thing I want to make happen:

A study group on the whys and how-tos of creative apps

Wait, What Do You Mean by “Creative”?

Wikipedia defines creative coding as:

a type of computer programming in which the goal is to create something expressive instead of something functional.

This could be art, interactive media, or often in my case, music technology.

With a Focus on iOS

I spend a good amount of time working in creative iPhone and iPad apps, so for this first iteration I’m focusing iOS. One day, perhaps soon, this could be a multidisciplinary group. Ultimately this is a meeting of like minded folks passionate about expression through technology.

No Experience Required but Passion is a Must

I’m open to working with individuals of all skill levels and backgrounds, but first and foremost you must have an interest in creative technology.

Participant Led

The material will be participant led. I expect you to have a few goals, but from this we’ll break it down, figure out the appropriate resources, and get you on the right path. We’ll meet online regularly, you’ll come prepared, and we’ll discuss materials collectively.
